It's amazing how more and more foreigners are singing tagalog songs and posting them on youtube and facebook. I think its becoming a craze. It's interesting to know that even foreigners are now enjoying filipino music and some are even inspired to sing, or compose their own filipino songs. It is just similar to how we filiponos love to sing songs of our favorite american or other asian artists( even though we really don't understand the lyrics hehe) but now these americans and other asians are singing songs in our own language. I feel really proud that foreigners are starting to appreciate Filipino music and that they came to love singing OPM songs as well.

UKiss First Major Concert in Manila on May 29, 2010 got POSTPONED!

Just when all the Ukiss filipino fans are getting excited to watch Ukiss perform live in their anticipated first major concert at Araneta Coliseum this May 29, rumors of it getting postponed spread-out. Unfortunately, that rumor happens to be true. According from an interview of the Korean presentative of the UKiss and the concert producer, they regret to inform everyone that the concert will be postponed to June. But the reason behind this was not stated. They also did not say the exact date when the concert will be on June. But fans who bought tickets on advanced no need to worry because their tickets will still be valid on June. According to the concert representative, it will be honored on the June concert therefore there is no need to refund the tickets.

This delay in the Ukiss concert is very much a dissappointing news for the filipino avid fans of Ukiss. But at least the event was only postponed and not cancelled. Fans could still see and enjoy Ukiss perform on June. As the saying goes, better late than never. So, for the UKiss avid fans, just hang in there after all, June is past approaching!

Being successful in music is not unchartered territory for Rendezvous. The band, formed by Itai Simon and Hagai Izenberg, has earned its place in the history of underground music after it launched its first EP five years ago. Thousands of song downloads and fans later, Rendezvous is ready to release its debut album.

In 2004, Rendezvous released their first song, a studio project which was recorded while Izenberg and Simon were studying music. They both came up with a novel approach to both jazz and electronica, experimenting with various grooves and beats, with each attempt leading to another new idea. These ideas soon became their very first EP, which music fans have been raving about ever since it came out on the Internet.

Because of their impressive achievement, Rendezvous started working on their debut album. David Bascombe, a highly-acclaimed producer/ mixer who has worked with the likes of Skunk Anansie, Moby, Suede, Natalie Imbruglia, and Bon Jovi, is now working with Rendezvous for their first album.

Itai Simon and Hagai Izenberg have always been musicians even before they had their lucky break five years ago. Simon, during his childhood, has always had a keen interest in music. Pink Floyd’s psychedelic music from the sixties made quite an impression on Simon, evident in Rendezvous’ songs. Simon has become a jack-of-all-trades in music: producer, bassist, and arranger for other music artists. He is also teaching music, sharing what he has learned through his years of being a talented musician.

Izenberg loves playing the piano, even when he was still seven. Aside from synth, piano, and organs, Izenberg also specializes in computers. He has been in the Internet and software business for more than a decade now. Rendezvous’ music is a myriad of genres: pop, electronica, acid jazz, experimental, instrumental, and what-have-you. One thing’s for sure: they know exactly what they’re doing.

My Music Lounge is PR1 once Again!

So I suddenly thought of checking out all of my blogs PR after having all of them being PR0( zero). My blog Dreamscape still has a zero PR as well as Anime X-stream Spot. But I was so surprised when I chekc for My Music Lounge's PR that it turned out to PR1 once again! I was so thrilled and happy to know that MML's PR is back to 1 again! It was last year that from being PR1 MML PR dropped down to zero. That was a very disappointing ang sad experience. Anyway, what matters now is that finally MML got it's PR back and I'm so happy about it! :D

Bratz: Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack to the live-action theatrical film Bratz. It features songs from and inspired by the film by various artists, including the Bratz themselves. The "Bratz" are Janel Parrish (Jade), Skyler Shaye (Cloe), Logan Browning (Sasha) and Nathalia Ramos (Yasmin). The soundtrack was produced by Geffen Records.

Three singles were released from the album: "Rainy Day" by Janel Parrish and "Rockstar" by Prima J, which were released on July 7, 2007, and "Fearless" by Daechelle which was released July 11, 2007. The album itself was released on July 31, 2007, three days prior to the film's release date. The album has sold 50,000 copies worldwide.
